preparing for another week

Clean the whole house
I typically clean the house on Friday afternoons because I end work early on Friday’s or don’t work at all depending on the week. This works perfectly for my schedule because I don’t even have to get ready for the day until after I have finished cleaning. Cleaning on Friday’s consists of disinfecting all surfaces, doing the dishes, cleaning the stove, cleaning out the refrigerator, dusting, the bathroom, both bedrooms, vacuuming, and etc. Everything gets cleaned. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love a clean house. It makes me feel good to be home.
2.
Do all of the Laundry
Yes, I said ALL of the laundry. Laundry is just one of those tasks that is never ending. I find it easiest to do on Saturday’s. I feel better knowing all of the laundry is completed before another week begins on Monday.

Catching up on TV shows from the week before
I fall behind so often because I forget to watch some of my favorite shows during the week because I’m occupied doing other things. I love finding a tv show series that fascinates me. I love a good TV show that makes me yell at the TV. HAHA.
4.
Prioritize and Make a List for the Upcoming Week
I ask myself if there is anything that I have to do the upcoming week and by when. I also make a list of things that we need around the house, errands to run, friends I’m hanging out with and on what days. It’s all organizational and helps me tremendously.
5.
Relax
I cannot stress this enough. It feels so good to sit down and relax after you accomplished everything you intended on completing before the next week starts. I would say I am a pretty busy person, but I will always make sure I am feeling good before going to hang out with my friends or doing anything that requires a good amount of energy because I want to give everything and everyone my best.
These are things I do every weekend to help prepare me for the upcoming week. This schedule of 5 things to help get ready for the upcoming week has not failed me yet. I love routines and this is a good one for me.
