There are so many different ways to announce your pregnancy.👶🏽 My best advice to you is to do whatever your heart desires! I looked up so many pregnancy announcements and how to announce your pregnancy. I wanted it to be grand. I was going to have photos taken by my favorite photographer, Madalyn Vermeer, but I just could not wait any longer! LOL. If Josh had it his way, I would have been 5 or 6 months pregnant announcing – no joke! If I had it my way I would have announced the day I found out, but clearly that did not happen. I understand the reasons behind waiting to announce, but to each their own. I did not do anything cute when I told Josh that I was pregnant initially because he already knew I was going to take the pregnancy test and we were trying, so it didn’t seem like much of a surprise to both of us. I was very impatient and did not really care how great the photos looked because the news was even greater.🤍 I was also feeling pretty good this day and it wasn’t raining, so we had to take advantage of those two positives.
My heart desired confetti for our announcement which ended up being a big fail because Josh’s mom could not pop the confetti popper.😜 It definitely was not what I envisioned for our pregnancy announcement, but it turned out to be a hilarious memory that we will remember forever. It was so hilarious and I still laugh about it to this day. I was actually crying and fell on the ground from laughing so hard. We announced on May 25, 2020. I was so ready to let all of our friends and family know our wonderful news because we were keeping this secret for 2 months. Josh wanted me to wait even longer than 13 weeks to announce, and I said heck no.😂 This is the hardest secret I have ever had to keep in my whole life. I was so relieved after announcing. I felt the kind of relief that you feel after holding in your pee for hours.
